Rumah Cemara

Rumah Cemara was formed in January 2003 by 5 recovering drug users who wanted to create a safe space for other people who use drugs to better their lives. At the time, HIV incidence among people who inject drugs was really high, and therefore Rumah Cemara also started to providing psychosocial support for people living with HIV. The organisation recognises the importance of having an inclusive society as stigma and discrimination in the community continues to become a major barrier for people living with HIV and other key populations to access life-saving health services. Therefore, Rumah Cemara started to develop inclusive approach through popular activities such as sports, arts, music and other cultural activities to enable a supportive environment where people can learn without having the fear of stigma and discrimination.

Dream A Dream

Dream a Dream uses soccer to help young people from vulnerable backgrounds to overcome adversity and flourish in a fast-changing world using a creative, life skills approach. Dream a Dream works directly with young people through its After School Life Skills and Career Connect programs, using sport and art as a medium to engage and develop critical life skills. Thanks to your visit, Dream a Dream will be able to provide year-round youth soccer activities, and help us buy new equipment and materials, refreshments, and pay for teacher salaries.

Slum Soccer

Your trip will be hosted by the respected, local non-profit organization ’Slum Soccer’, which runs soccer programs for the most disadvantaged members of Indian society. It began with soccer leagues for the homeless, many of whom were involved in crime, violence or drugs. The decrease in these harmful activities and the improvement of the participants’ lives inspired Slum Soccer to expand its program to more cities and Slum Soccer now addresses issues like HIV/AIDS infection, personal hygiene and environmental protection. Thanks to your visit, Slum Soccer will be able to achieve goals like; Enrol 20 young people from underserved communities in high school for a year Provide one of our soccer teams with materials, food, water, educational classes and community service projects for a year Provide literacy classes for 25 students for 6 months, including materials, food, and teacher salaries

Dragones de Lavapies

Your trip will be hosted by the respected non-profit organization ‘Dragones de Lavapies’, a multicultural, grassroots soccer club which uses the game to deliver education programs and foster social inclusion in the neighborhood of Lavapies. You’ll work with Dragones’s coaches as they deliver programs like youth soccer leagues, radio shows, round table discussions and more. Your visit will help Dragones de Lavapies provide scholarships for children to attend its powerful soccer programs throughout the year.

Sport Against Racism Ireland

Your trip will be hosted by the respected non-profit organization Sport Against Racism Ireland (SARI). SARI was founded in 1997 as a direct response to an increasing number of racist attacks, linked to the dramatic increase in the number of foreign nationals living in Ireland. SARI’s mission is to support cultural integration and social inclusion in Ireland by using sport, particularly soccer, as a medium to combat racism, sectarianism, homophobia and other forms of discrimination. CBSA

Your trip will be hosted by the respected non-profit organization Chiparamba Breakthrough Sports Academy (CBSA). CBSA creates sporting opportunities for all children, not just those with athletic ability to teach important life skills. We organize multiple programs, including HIV education for boys and girls living in refugee camps near the borders with Burundi, Rwanda and DRC. We've also created a ‘WASH’ league to provide access to clean water and sanitation through the power of soccer. Your visit helps us fund and advocate for these amazing programs.

Your trip will be hosted by the respected non-profit organization Whizzkids United, an innovative educational programme leader in the world in using football to address sexual and reproductive health including HIV. Thanks to your visit, Whizzkids United will be able to achieve goals like; Launch our ‘On The Ball’ program focusing on reproductive health in two new schools Five youth go through our Game Change program focusing on math, IT and work readiness. Your host will the respected non-profit ONG ‘Delta Cultura’, which gets young people off the streets and educates them for a better future and to live a socially responsible life. Soccer is used as a tool for social change and as a motivation for the children and adolescents to take part in other educational and cultural programs. Your visit will help Delta Cultura cover one whole year of school fees and books for 250 primary school children, and pay salaries for the teachers delivering this amazing programs.

Sacred Sports Foundation

Your trip will be hosted by the respected non-profit organization Sacred Sports Foundation. Their mission is to assist disadvantaged communities through socially-inclusive sports development programmes for young people aged 6-25 in low-income areas. You’ll help Sacred Sports Foundation as they deliver educational programming focusing on communication, conflict management, gender awareness and health. Thanks to your visit, Sacred Sports Foundation will be able to achieve goals like; Employ four unemployed youth coaches to work with our after school programme for three months Use and maintain a soccer field within a community for a whole year Change the lives of 15 disadvantaged local teenage kids by delivering child safeguarding certification, life skills training and leadership mentoring for an entire year.

For many kids in Haiti, GOALS Haiti provides their very first opportunity to play soccer in a structured and safe environment. FUDELA offers comprehensive training and technical skill development that improve young people’s chances of getting a job and earning a living. Community members contribute with their talents, ideas, labor and other local resources, serving as partners and agents of change in the process. Kick4Life’s approach is based on the belief that football clubs do not always have to be run for private profit and that we can more effectively leverage the enormous wealth and influence of the football industry for social development by becoming a part of it. Thanks to your visit, Kick4Life will be able to achieve goals like; 1,000 children tested for HIV through Kick4Life’s innovative ‘Test Your Team’ program 30 orphans and vulnerable children receive a year’s worth of intensive and holistic mentoring and support 150 orphans and vulnerable children complete a six-week health education and life-skills course enabling them to live a safer and more productive life
