Join the third half as we take you Down Under to experience stunning natural beauty and one of the world’s most iconic cities.
Sydney, on Australia’s rugged Pacific coast, is one of the world’s top tourist destinations and it’s easy to see why. From the unmistakable skyline that incorporates the Harbor Bridge and world-famous Opera House to the city’s golden beaches, plentiful parks and buzzing urban culture, Sydney is a city that has something for everyone. You’ll experience all this and more, as well as learning about the history of Australia and the ‘Harbour City’ – including the realities of the country’s colonial past and the experience of the indigenous Aboriginal people.
Despite its history as a nation created by immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers who have fled to Australia in recent years still face discrimination and hardship. You’ll join a local NGO which seeks to support and integrate newcomer youth using the universal language of soccer.
